Data Deletion

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Draft notice: published to support platform integrations currently in progress. The request process below is handled manually today (Section 3); an automated deletion flow is planned as the platform matures.

1. What this page covers

This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from Opsetu — whether you signed up directly, or connected Opsetu to a third-party account such as Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp.

If you've connected Opsetu to your Meta account (Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp) and want to remove that connection specifically, you can also do so directly from Facebook: Settings → Apps and Websites → remove Opsetu. Removing the app there stops Opsetu's access to that account going forward, but doesn't by itself delete data already stored in your Opsetu account — for that, use the request process below.

2. What gets deleted

One exception: invoices and billing records are retained as long as Indian tax law requires (currently up to eight years for GST records), even after the rest of your account is deleted. See our Privacy Policy, Section 8.
If you run a storefront on Opsetu: your own customers' data (their accounts, orders, reviews on your store) belongs to your business as the data controller, not to Opsetu — see Privacy Policy, Section 5. A deletion request for your own Opsetu account doesn't automatically delete your storefront customers' records; that's a separate request you'd manage as the business responsible for that data.

3. How to request deletion

Email privacy@opsetu.com from the address or phone number associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request," and include:

We'll verify the request is really coming from you, then process it. If you're a business Tenant with an active subscription, we'll also confirm you understand this ends your access to the account before proceeding.
