Know what a competitor's price actually did, not just what it is today

Add a competitor's product page, scan it, and keep a real history of price, rating and stock status over time — instead of checking a tab by hand and trying to remember what it said last week.

How this actually works

A direct page fetch, not a browser — read this before you rely on it

Snapshots are captured by fetching a product page directly and reading its structured product data (the same schema.org markup search engines use) — not by driving a real browser. That makes it fast, but it has a real limit worth knowing upfront.

Track any product URL

Add a competitor's product page — yours or theirs, any channel — and scan it on demand.

Real price/rating history

Every scan is kept, not overwritten — see the actual trend, not just today's number.

Amazon & Flipkart: often blocked

Both frequently block this kind of direct fetch. A scan can genuinely fail on them — that's the page's anti-bot protection, not a bug here, and it's shown clearly when it happens, not hidden.

Scan on demand

Snapshots are captured when you click "Scan now" — there's no automatic daily schedule in this version.

Price, rating & stock

Whatever the page's own structured data exposes — most product pages that publish it include all three.

Not in scope yet

Automatic daily scans, bestseller-rank tracking, and AI-assisted competitor discovery aren't built yet — roadmap items, not silently missing.

Questions

Before you rely on this for Amazon or Flipkart

Not reliably, today. Both frequently block the direct page-fetch method this uses, and a scan can fail outright. It works well on product pages that don't block automated fetches and expose structured product data — try a scan on the specific page you care about before counting on it.

That's the honest next step, and it's on the roadmap — it needs infrastructure this version doesn't have yet, so we'd rather tell you that plainly than promise reliable Amazon/Flipkart tracking today and have it fail on you.

You trigger each scan manually right now — there's no automatic daily schedule in this version.
